Altair's MoneyShare® Solution
The Altair MoneyShare® Card is a competitive alternative to traditional money
transfer. It consists of a two-card product allowing instant safe transfer of funds
from a primary to secondary Prepaid Card.
The MoneyShare® Card:
- Instant transfer of funds at minimal cost (locally or abroad) at highly competitive
foreign exchange rates
- More convenient and cheaper than current available methods
- Provided in two-card pack for instantaneous transfers globally
- Particularly pertinent to the exploding EU transient labour market
This provides a convenient, instant and competitively priced international prepaid
card product to facilitate the sharing of funds between family and friends regardless
of geographical location. The MoneyShare® Cards can be issued to almost anyone
as no bank account or previous credit history is required.
This captures customers who cannot obtain credit or debit cards. Once the primary
card is loaded with funds, the primary cardholder can instantly and conveniently
send funds to the secondary cardholder. Both the primary and secondary cards can
be used to securely to make purchases globally and online as well as access local
currency from ATMs around the world.
Cardholder benefits:
- No standing in line to transfer money
- Can be used 24/7 any day of the year
- No need for physical infrastructure
- Cardholders do not need to undergo a credit check - they simply need to provide
an address and passport details.
- The primary cardholder can instantly share funds with secondary card, which could
be with a relative or dependant in any country.
- Sharing funds with secondary cardholders is possible by either SMS (Altair Mobile
Payment System) or using the client website.
- Both the primary and secondary MoneyShare® cards are accepted for Point of Sale
(POS) purchases and for cash withdrawals from ATMs as well as for Internet purchases
and services.
- As there is no direct access from the MoneyShare® card to any of the cardholders
other banking details, they are safer from the risk of fraud.
